I own the EXACT same set of ivory chopsticks/knife/case as in the photo. It was in the effects of my great aunt along with some chinese bowls. I would like to sell the ivory set. Would you be able to advise me who to contact regarding the sale?

If you have any, I would start with local auction-houses of antiques and collectibles. They would be your best first-stop.

Chinese. I’ve never heard of the Japanese having eating-sets like that. But I have seen some which come from China and areas around there (SE Asia, etc).

The ordering of presentation should have been Chinese, Korean, Japanese bc when you compare the size, they are descending in that order. Which also happens to be the geography. China is connected to Korea which is a short distance of water away from Japan. Korea in between the two larger nations displays attributes of middle ground. Even the shape of rice between these 3 countries reveal that – long grain, medium grain, short grain. And finally, not all Korean chopsticks are flat metal as you desribe. I have used Korean chopsticks which are square and cylindrical in shape.
